Hello I am John and I am mad about motoring!
I enjoy driving, travelling around the UK and other countries for business and pleasure. As well as driving cars I have also driven and still drive 4X4, minibuses, tow trailers, drive trucks including articulated vehicles. I work as a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor, not an examiner, and I am self employed with licenses to train drivers in all the types of vehicle that I can drive. I am an advanced driver too, at GOLD standard and tested every 3 years just to keep me up to standard, I don't have to do it but its fun.

In order to help us all I have set up this discussion board because I know that young people are used to communicating by computer and email, and so that you can find out as much as possible about driving and the learning process as possible before you are 17 or decide to learn even if you are older as there are no age restrictions on learning. I probably don't have all the answers, you can ask about anything from theory test questions, how to get your license, buying a car the tests and pass plus or advanced driving its up to you.
